Rev.  Patia Douglas

Minister for Inspired Living

Rev. Patia began her spiritual studies in 1970, at the age of 19,  after a serious freeway accident brought an awakening and ignited an ambition to find her Path.  Her first studies involved the nature of her dreams, symbol interpretation and the realm of psychic phenomena and was quickly followed by the study of Christian mysticism, Shamanism, the Arcane intuitive arts of Tarot, Astrology, Numerology, Palmistry,  and Alternative Healing modalities.

In 1980 she studied Therapeutic Touch with Sandra Weber, RN and later took over the instruction of TT as a non-accredited class through Clackamas Community College. This method was developed as a hands on healing therapy by Dr. Delores Krieger, PHD after studying with 'faith healers' world wide.

In 1981 Patia earned her Oregon State Massage Therapy license, applying her skills at chiropractic clinics and at Harlow's of Beaverton, OR, a full service women's salon. She also participated in two years of hypnotherapy studies with James Howard, CHT.

The 1980's,  included enrollment in courses of Egyptian Huna with Nikki Skully of Eugene, OR and participated in the Golden Cauldron Journey work, a technique she has continued using for many years.  Shortly afterward she was introduced to the Peralandra Medical Assistance Program (MAP) by MS Wright, and has shared this book and process with hundreds of people along the way.  In 1989, Patia was introduced to John Hammer, a full body channel in Portland, and became part of the core group dedicated to healing circles, workshops and visionary counseling.  During her work with John, she began to discover a hidden talent for working within the subatomic Crystaline Matrix and named this process Light Grid Fusion.

In 1992 she moved from her native Portland, Oregon to Sandpoint, Idaho. The group intended to build an off-grid community.  It was here in Sandpoint's Heartland Bookstore that Patia began offering counsel to the public at large.  Plans, however, did not proceed as hoped and the group disbanded after moving again in August 1994 to Whitefish, Montana. During this tumultuous time, she continued her study and application of hands on healing, and symbolic counseling, and was ordained in the Universal Life Church, September of 1994.  Her ministry has included wedding, handfasting, and blessing ceremonies.

From May 1996 through October 1997, she co-sponsored The Open Forum in Kalispell, Montana, a platform allowing a diversity of practitioners to showcase their professional talents.  Shamanic drum circles and Tone/ Sound Healing sessions were conducted regularly and well attended. During this time she was introduced to the nature of Geopathic Stress (Earth field distortion) and how to release it through work with the Nature Deva community.

March of 1999 included a spiritual journey to Egypt where she participated in ceremony and ritual within the Giza Plateau - Sphinx and Pyramids - and the Nile temples.  And in 2000 she co-authored The Inner Dimensional Reflection Project, a meditational system based in Kabbalah, with partner, Rev. Roger Poor.

Patia and Roger visited the United Kingdom in the Spring of 2002, visiting many sacred and neolithic sites while conducting Angelic Gate ceremonies at several locations.  During this same time period, Patia offered her skills as an inspirational  guide and instructor at Aure's Crystal Rainbow, metaphysical resource and gift store in Kalispell.

In 2007, she wrote the  handbook, Jump-Right-In Tarot, designed to help those who want to use the symbolic system of Tarot for their own edification but lack the courage to trust their intuitive process.  This system is designed to bring  forward the 'inner authority' as personal guide instead of relying on outside interpreters.  Tarot Symposiums, based on her book , have been held publicly and privately throughout the local region.

Patia co-authored the book Code in the Raw and The Simulation Tarot, available through Amazon, in 2019. The Simulation Tarot Deck is available through MakePlayingCards.com.

She and Roger visited Ireland and France, in October and November of 2019,  to visit historical and sacred sites while continuing to look at their connections to many places through family lineage.

Patia and husband, Roger, have five children and eight grandchildren.  Though more world travel is planned, she is currently enjoying the peace and beauty of the northwestern Rockies of  Montana .
